TELEVISION

At Gratwick house we have two communal lounges with coloured t.v and a comfortable seating. We have a lovely garden with seating and flower boarders and some lovely fruit trees. Service users may entertain theyr visitors in the garden in the summer months.

Bathrooms

We have one assissted bathroom on the ground floor and two on the first floor.

W/Cs
Some of our rooms have their own ensuite but for those rooms that do not we have two w/cs on the ground floor with grab rails and raised seats and two on the 1st floor.

TELEPHONE

There is a payphone in the main hall on which you may ring out or receive calls. The number is 01903 716022.

You may request a private phone to be connected in your room, please speak to the manager who will make the arrangements for you with B.T. accounts will be sent direct to you from B.T.

HAIRDRESSING
A hairdresser visits Gratwick House weekly. Accounts are paid direct to the hairdresser, or paid on your behalf either from your personal account or added to your fee account.

CHIROPODY
Our private chiropodist visits every six weeks. Fees to the chiropodist are again, paid as above.

AROMATHERAPIST
Our aromatherapist visits on a monthly basis.

TRANSPORT
There are several local taxi firms to collect and return visitors and take individuals to special appointments. They can be arranged via the staff. Relatives or friends are asked to accompany residents for hospital appointments. If a member of staff is required to provide escort services, a charge will be made. Free hospital transport is often provided for pre arranged appointments.
