Statement of Purpose

Gratwick House is dedicated to providing high standards of care, that enable the people we care for to have their quality of life maintained professionally.

Through effective and professional management Gratwick House provide trained and experienced staff working to an ethos that totally respects an individuals Privacy, Dignity, Independence, Choice, Rights and Fulfilment.

It is the responsibility of all staff to ensure that through appropriate assessment an individual is totally respected for their individual needs. Therefore realistic “needs led” care plans will be effected, monitored and evaluated. Regular review of any care plan will be carried out, as Gratwick House recognises that an individual’s needs may change.

Gratwick House also respects a holistic approach in providing it’s services to each individual and therefore will utilise other disciplines as and when needed. This collaborative support may involve G.P’s, District Nurses, Chiropodist, Optician etc and would thus ensure an individual’s needs are appropriately met.
